### Enfield / Plainfield Town Line Perambulation 2006

On November 1 st 2006 at 1 PM, Kurt Gotthardt, Enfield, David Grobe, Plainfield, and Jim Taylor, Plainfield (also Enfield’s Community Development Director), meet at the Stone monument marking the Enfield / Plainfield / Lebanon common corner, known as Stone #1.

Stone #1 is a Granite Post, measuring 6 1/2” by 7” by 18 1/2” high. The GPS coordinates for this monument are 43 0 35’ 07” N, 72 0 12’ 29” W ,WGS 84 Datum / NAD 83.

We then proceeded to Stone #2 as described in the 1998 Enfield / Plainfield Perambulation. It was determined that the tree next to this monument is a Maple tree.

The GPS coordinates for this monument are 43 0 34’ 46” N, 72 0 11’ 18” W

WGS 84 Datum / NAD 83.

We then proceeded to Stone #3 as described in the 1998 Enfield / Plainfield Perambulation.

The GPS coordinates for this monument are 43 0 34’ 45” N, 72 0 11’ 16” W ,WGS 84 Datum / NAD 83.

We then proceeded to Stone #4 as described in the 1998 Enfield / Plainfield Perambulation. Next to Stone #4 is a 2” hollow pipe, 7” above ground, and painted yellow.

The GPS coordinates for this monument are 43 0 34’ 44” N, 72 0 11’ 9” W WGS 84 Datum / NAD 83.

We then followed the stonewall until it ended, a 1 1/2” hollow pipe, 12” above ground, and painted yellow was found just beyond the end of the wall.

We then proceed to follow a compass bearing S 66 0 E to a 1 3/4” hollow pipe, 21” above ground, and painted yellow.

The GPS coordinates for this monument are 43 0 34’ 36”N, 72 0 10’ 47” W

WGS 84 Datum / NAD 83.

We then continued on a compass bearing S 66 0 E to a large beaver pond. As a side note, a stick built birds nest was noticed in a dead snag along the northern edge of this beaver pond. The compass bearing was lost as we walked around the southern side of this beaver pond.

We followed a general compass bearing until we found the stone monument marking the Enfield / Plainfield / Grantham common corner, known as stone #5.

Stone #5 is a Granite Post, measuring 8” by 6” by 26” high. A 1” rebar 17” above ground, and painted yellow is next to this monument.

The GPS coordinates for this monument are 43 0 34’ 25” N, 72 0 10’ 11” W ,WGS 84 Datum / NAD 83.
